I really liked the Office/Middle Earth sketch. I surprisingly like the song "Everybody gets sumpin" or however that is spelled.

I like Martin Freeman. I thought he did really well.

Martin Freeman episode - Decent, average. Doll commercial was the best part for sure.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the Hobbit Office was pretty good. And Everybody gets Sumptin was fun, mostly because Keynan Thompson is so much fun. Even his smile can crack me up.

Amy Adams episode - Very close to brutal. And I think I mentioned it last time Girlfriends Talk show was on, but was that EVER funny? Even the first time? Also, anyone else getting tired of the song and dance numbers during the monologues? The 'Office Christmas Party' song did little for me other than make me long for Andy Samburg to come back, which is a shame, cause they've had some decent ones since he left. Not this time.

Also, and I know I complained about it before, but they are putting in way too many non-live skits. I figure have two, one commercial and one music video or skit. They're running the whole point of the show. Saturday Night LIVE.

Both the last two Weekend Updates weren't quite up to snuff either. Not bad, but not the usual strong part of the show it is.

I loved the Women's activity kit commercial. I am still laughing at that one.

Some pretty good sketches, the Casablanca sketch, Teacher Snow Day, the Pushy sketch was decent. The Jay Z story with Mike O'Brien was good. Even the Career Day sketch was good.

Overall, I thought the show was great, and that JK did pretty well.

Interesting list. Almost as if Lorne is planning to pack it in with so many of the "5-timers" and up club there, as well as strong old school movie stars.

It's a really strong line-up.

Walken, Seinfeld, Macdonald and White should be really good. I'm looking forward to seeing what roles they take in the upcoming episodes. I'm expecting some great things from Samberg and Timberlake.

I thought Chevy Chase was banned from SNL for being a gigantic ***hole.

He may have been once, but I think he was there when Timberlake joined the Five Timer Club.

Reminds me of that old Larry David joke about Lou Gehrig's famous speech, "Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth...except for Joe Piscopo...".

IIRC he was banned from hosting but has been in a few skits since.
