John Shannon showing that he only watched the highlights of the flames last game by saying Gio and Brodie need to take less risks through the playoff drive because they took risks against Minny and the risks cost them the game.

I've always liked Shannon but it's become so clear that he doesn't watch the Flames play and he analyzes them on highlights and hearsay.

I wouldn't poke the kitten, it might make them wake up and show a tiny little bit of pride.

Shannons background is tv production and NHL insider - he worked for them for quite awhile in their TV department - He is not a hockey guy and should restrict his comments to his expertise.

Yeah he started out for CBC in Calgary in the 80s, so you'd think he'd follow the Flames a bit.
