Watched it live in a pub in Tottenham. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Cost United the title that year but proved to be one of Fergie's masterstrokes in man management in setting up that meeting in Paris and convincing him to return not to mention his handling of the shouts to sack him. Reading autobiographies from players since,, ALL are in agreement that he was a huge part not just in the clubs success in the following years but laid the foundation for years later. I would argue that if there is one player that could be singled out for turning the club around it is him.
Whilst his actions in itself were wrong history has shown that he couldn't have kicked a better person.

"You didn’t have to look very long and hard at Mr Matthew Simmons of Thornton Heath to conclude that Eric Cantona’s only mistake was to stop hitting him. The more we discovered about Mr Simmons, the more Cantona’s assault looked like the instinctive expression of a flawless moral judgement."

Derby County v Reading
Preston North End or Sheffield United v Cambridge United or Manchester United.
Nothing of real note except Liverpool potentially get to revisit the scene that gave us the greatest football fans gif ever.
There's just so much going on here. There's proof Jabba the Hutt managed to get some genetic drift to earthlings, three bald guys doing some sort of weird bald guy bowing ritual, the guy that realises about 5 seconds after everyone else that Palace have scored ......
Darren Fletcher is about to move to West Ham on a free transfer. It's the right decision without a doubt ... maybe should have made the switch earlier though. He's regressed a lot after his illness and it has reached a point where fans were disappointed when he was in the starting lineup, and that's really sad considering how good he was prior to his illness. He was a beast between 2008 and 2010 though and his comeback was inspirational. Great servant to the club and I'm sure he'll return to the club at some point after his playing career.
Also broke through in the first team together with these two:
That also means that from the great CL winning squad from 2008, the only players left are Rooney, Carrick ... and Anderson

Schürrle is off to Wolfsburg for - no kidding - more than €30m, according to Bild. How do they manage to offload their garbage for that much money all the time FFS? They've now sold David Luiz and Schürrle for a combined €80m. Freaking unbelievable.
And of course, they'll now use the Schürrle money to buy Cuadrado.

I think that was a mistake. Shurrle is an amazing player. I have no idea why he was underwhelming at Chelsea, but I'm glad that the good German got the hell out of there.
I'll never forgive Chelsea for signing Ballack.

... no, he's just not good enough to be in Chelsea's lineup.
Honestly, I'm surprised by the reactions here. Everybody in Germany is laughing at this right now. Schürrle is a good player and he'll help Wolfsburg in their fight for 2nd place, but the price is a joke.

Oh yeah, no argument there. Thats obscene money for Schurrle.

ya I think he's a decent player, but have to remember he was a sub for a Germany team that had Reus injured, and also has Draxler coming
he's going to be a sub player always for top top teams, he doesn't track back enough or have enough creativity to start for Germany, or a title winning league team
I don't know what the ruling is exactly, but in my personal opinion I thought the stamp on Can was intentional and the one on Skrtel wasn't. At least thats how it looked to me at full speed.
It'll be interesting to see if Costa gets a lot of attention for the FA now. He plays a lot like Suarez in that he has a lot of these "accidental" moments. Heck of a player though, he's an absolute nightmare for defenders.
