She's a neutral host, trying no less or harder than any other (say, Duthie, Millard, Strombolopolous, etc.), speaking with enthusiasm as the voice of the network in between periods.

She's articulate, expressive, and she doesn't stumble, seem intimidated, or act goofy. Quite frankly, she does an excellent job in her role in these regional games.

Why? Shannon was the voice of reason in that argument and rightfully tried to talk over Cox.

Hextall is a pretty good host for her first year in the gig. Sportsnet is much better overall this year and for a regional broadcast we're pretty lucky.
