You know, Jooris is going to be a great Top 9 right winger for us, who can do centre shifts as a faceoff guy.

Something about Jooris. Never going to be a star but I can see him scoring some seriously important goals for this franchise, maybe even John Druce-ing it up for a spring down the road. Hope he's in the bottom 6 for years and years.

I feel Diaz is playing better this game. I wonder why Engelland always gets favored over Diaz. Have we ever seen a Smid-Diaz paring this season?

Physicality. I don't necessarily agree with it but I think that is the reason why.

Colborne is good down in those corners - he really likes grinding it out.

I still hate that penalty. Should be treated as an icing IMO.

Giordano has the coolest looking stick in the NHL.

How can you treat it as icing? It's a failed defensive zone clearance. F/O would still take place in the D zone even if it wasnt a delay of game penalty.

I can think of maybe one or two games where Engelland's physicality was actually noticeable or had a positive impact on the team's fortunes. He's basically a pylon out there. A big, mean looking pylon. Other teams probably specifically attack his side as part of their strategy.

It curbed people purposely doing it. Remember each rule integrated is because a problem. Hooking, holding etc..
Also you can't treat it as icing as its in the offensive zone already.

I like Byron so I don't like using him as an example but our PP is like Byron on a breakaway, it can look good and give you hope, but at the end of the day it's just frustrating as hell.
