Already missing Davenport who can at least provide some true insight instead of locker room gossip.

Davenport doing double duty too with Keys still in it. Chris Evert has been mentioned as a possible Bouchard coach.

Battling much better now, but two of Maria's service games in a row where Genie just couldn't punch through. Sharapova is on her game tonight.

Felt like Christmas in that first set with how many gifts Genie was handing out. 20 unforced errors in that set.

Seemed like Genie came out nervous.

Im surprised Sharapova doesn't grunt when she drinks water.

It is getting really annoying. I know I should be used to it but ugh. The long pauses between serves is also frustrating Genie.

I have to remember she is only 20 years old.

Maria is deplorable. Genie need a new coach to develop more weapons, not enough in the arsenal to beat the best right now.

Not sure how Sharapova is "deplorable". She is a phenomenal player.

Didn't she just get a new coach? She looked nervous to me at the start of this game. Still a ways to go before she's a number one threat.

Underwhelming, but unsurprising given how the first six games of the match went. Sharapova wasn't going to give up too many chances.

^^^Her on court antics are extremely annoying, if Genie or Serena isn't involved it's pretty impossible to watch. Mute advised either way. Genie does not have a coach right now, she's working with someone right now but it's not permanent.

Sharapova was far superior today. However, does she really need to take nearly a minute between some serves? I get the gamesmanship, but come on.

Nadal is the same with time between points. I wish more players would call them and make the umpire put them on the clock.

I think Berdych takes this one, he's really playing well and Nadal is not quite fit yet.

Question, why would a player cancel out a challenge of another player? Berdych made a shot, Nadal challenged, and Berdych said no I'll just go again. Why would he do that? What's the harm.
