I was hoping that Milos would have won that 4th set tie-breaker because I knew I would fade before the 5th set was completed. Very happy to wake up to the news this morning that he won the 5th set 6-3. Bring on the Joker!

I did a horrible job of staying up I only made it to the 5th game. Let's hope my performance is better for the QFs

I'm guess they can't wait to meet up after the match and say hello....

Pretty bad day for TSN to be offline. I'm not sure if this is strictly a Shaw issue, but very bad timing nonetheless.

I was watching, and loving every moment of that 1st set. Then Serena slowly regained control and took over, and I hated watching after that point. I just want her to start losing and fade away. I don't like her attitude.

I appreciate what she's done for the women's side of the game, but I'm with you. I've never been a big fan of her attitude. Maybe it's just a personal thing, but I have a real hard time cheering for her.

Wow surprise of the women's draw maybe watching Halep getting blown off the court by Makarova. Genie-Sharapova figures to be not much after 6:40.

It was a Shaw issue. I was missing a bunch of channels (the digital only ones) most of the day.

Of course, it comes back just in time to see Genie fumble out of the gate. She needs to pick it up, and fast.

Also, can I add that that Melbourne logo is really, really stupid?

Yeesh what an ugly start...Bouchard looks like she has never played the game before.

Needs to just settle down and do her thing.

She's playing awful and is just fine scorewise. The Sharapova serve will get loose at some point.

Ugh, unfortunate timing for the coverage switchover from Tennis Channel to ESPN2 :|

I generally prefer the world feed (I think it's provided by channel 7) anyways.

It is almost impossible to get worse than ESPN. I love the split to five feeds by TSN because it means a lot more tennis with a lot less AMERICA F YEAH idiocy.

And Genie is really going to regret blowing that break point opportunity.

Yeah Maria is substantially more annoying than Serena on court. Not even really close.
