It works for some reason, classy vests on short dudes makes them more attractive to women for some reason. At least that's what I've observed.

He probably has a dong big enough to be wielded like a baseball bat to ward off an angry mob. So, there's that.

I usually say I'm 6'2" but I'm actually closer to 6'3". Maybe 6.275"

I also have broad shoulders. So, my height and broad shoulders make it hard to find clothes that fit. Stores do stock my size, but not enough and I feel like I need to be at the store the moment they get the stock and put it on the shelves. Lately I can't find khakis long enough and I've been struggling finding polos or button down shirts that are either comfortable in the shoulders or long enough in the sleeves, and sometimes torso. I just want to dress work casual without wearing jeans. How the heck am I having such a hard time? Big and Tall stores don't stock my size, I'm too small for them.

I'm glad I'm not short though because people make fun of them all the time, and rightly full so. I mean, being short is the worst.

It's funny because you're short!

Yeah unless you are REALLY short, then short guys should be saved by the fact that the average girl is roughly the same height as a short guy. Unless your under 5'6 I can't really see it being that big of an issue as the vast majority of girls will be your height. Sure, some might prefer taller guys, but that doesn't mean ####. It's your job to prove to them that they're wrong.

As for the super short girl thing, I dated a girl that was 4'11 before and while her height wasn't something I liked, it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. Her rack was a 10/10 too which made you forget pretty much everything, including your name and grawqw4 ta... boobs.

I agree and made the point as soon as the obesity thing happened. At least an exit seat or a bulkhead for people over X height. Sometimes I'll get an exit seat if there is one available out of pity, but I end up folded up like a pretzel more often than not. And then someone inevitable starts ramming back on their seat trying to get it to recline through my knees...

I remember hearing that chest to waist ratio is the most important factor is male attractiveness.

Saw this documentary a while back on the topic of short men. Quite interesting.

I'm sure heightism is a real factor, but RE: the link in the OP, is being way overblown by insecure tall grade school girls (feels like half the names have hearts in them) who don't like how short guys remind them of how tall they are.

As mentioned before, I'm 5'7" & change, and by far the worst "injustice" I've faced due to this is having buddies constantly trying to talk me into the back seat middle spot on road trips because "I don't need the leg room as much".

I'm 6'3/4. My go-to test to tell if a chick was a complete and total bitch back in the day when a bunch of us would pile into a car was to see if they'd give up the front seat for the taller people. It never once failed to separate the considerate chicks from the bitches.

And yet my husband would always tell his buddies that "TGIF"... tits go in front.

To the topic on hand though, I dated a few gentlemen shorter than me. I'm 5'8" or so and the shortest in my family. While shorter men are good for some things, I found it always became a little awkward after they met my family. My mother is 5'10", my father is 6'3" and my brother and sister are between them.

My husband is 6'2" and blends in nicely.

The front seat can be adjusted forward or back. The back seat cannot be made wider. As someone who is 5'7'' with very broad shoulders I can testify to the middle back seat being the worst regardless of height.

I'd argue the middle back seat is better than the other two back seats for tall and skinny people, as it allows for spreaded legs.

The point about ladies still stands, but depends on how slim they are.

Heightism is deplorable and I am decisively above it.

A tiny percent of the male population really got the short end of the stick. They will find little consolation in these sorts of small gestures of support.

Perhaps, on a larger scale, your notion is not a small token...

Short girls are fine, it's all about proportion and overall level of health.

Nothing to do with the vertically challenged, but one of my favourite Norm MacDonald bits (80s Norm at that) was about the back seat on road trips. Only someone crazy like Norm could come up with a bit about back seat middle.

Back seat part starts just after 1:00

EDIT: and short girls with big boobs are the best

On a related note - is it Wear a Fancy Vest and Act Charmingly Toward Tall Women Day today?

In my travels around the downtown core today, I've had seats offered up, doors held open, and a place in line at Starbucks presented by gents in natty vests.

No complaints! But did I miss something?
