Scoring Winger
How bout getting technology to determine if the puck crossed the goal line or not?

I'm just glad the panel got a chance to talk about Max Domi. Did you know he's the son of former Leaf favorite Tie Domi? It's quite a story.

.
As Healy said as he was part of competition committee in 2008, they wanted to create a "highlight" event/moment.
Basically this is the equivalent of the slam dunk contest.

At least in the NBA dunk contest they still have to dunk.

Though this is a fairly informal event I can't but think, especially after Hrudey's comment about the added metric being used in contract negotiations, that a player's agent ought to be helping to prep their players for the showboating event. That is, beyond just trademarking Johnny Hockey, perhaps Gaudreau's agent should've been on hand with an iPad with videos ready like the those Baertschi moves to get Johnny that much more media exposure which translates to more sponser dollars.

My god they really need to ditch the shootout comp or at least make some.drastic changes. This is embarrassing. The guys need yime to prepare to actually come up with good creative ideas.

Johnny looked so quick compared to the others in the relay...at least until he lost the puck.

Especially after missing the net twice. Surprised it didn't move the net off the moorings.

Yup. especially when he got half way through and went around that bottle so fast. Was like NHL 05 physics. Crazy.
