There's one that's been on all the time for Intact Insurance.

It's some guy talking about their 'great' guarantee to start a claim within 30 minutes. So he calls Intact and starts a timer after a tree crashes through his skylight. The lady answers, and indicates they need his policy number. She then says "okay we'll get someone out to assess your claim right away." Wow, great, that was quick! Then it jumps back to the guy who stop a timer at like 18 minutes.

What? So presumably this guy got the run-around for 18 minutes before they even decided what they were going to do. He's not a new customer, didn't have to sign up for anything, he's an existing customer trying to make a claim. That's horrible service! I can just imagine them cutting out all the footage of him being put on hold, her cycling through to higher-ups, trying to make it look like he doesn't have coverage, etc., until they finally throw him a bone. Terrible ad.

Not to mention that any company can start a claim when you call and say there is an issue. Now, how soon before you do something about said claim? That would be something to be having a commercial about. Not, oh, you called, OK, we started the claim. Now we'll get back to you in two weeks to do something about it...maybe.

I find it strange there just happens to be a camera crew and big stop clock at his house when the tree crashes through his sky light, and there is also a couple of cameras on the girl who answers his phone call.

When I was talking to my broker about adding another vehicle to my policy he was making fun of these commercials as well. They're just awful.

ALL of their commercials are horrible. And Marlborough Ford's ads with that lady that just yells during the whole commercial.

Has anyone seen the new Trivago ads?!? Guy is wearing a suit, clean shaven, looks quite sharp and professional. Definitely looks like Trivago listened to the comments that are out there... I find it quite humourous actually.

That Mercedes commercial that's airing now on Global (probably elsewhere). So much fail. ######y Mercedes owner, bad acting, horrible lighting....even the close up on the Mercedes logo the emblem is dirty. Who made this POS commercial!?

As much as I hate annoying commercials what just kills me is unrealistic premises.

Okay, so your realtor apparently says "I'm taking you guys out to the Keg for dinner" and they just casually go to dinner with their realtor as a third wheel and are surprised to tears that he shows them a "sold" document for their house?
