I would honestly go right back to Ortio next game. I realize it's not ideal at all to be carrying three goalies, but the kid has been outstanding and has earned another start despite maybe an off night tonight. It would be nice to see how he responds.

yeah he could use a game watching up high, his biggest issue is he doesn't have his head up when making plays. He just flings the puck hoping it ends up on a teammates stick. Jokinen did the same thing all the time.

Due to the All-Star break for the NHL/AHL, I think they should send him back down Saturday (with no intention to play for the Addy Flames that night) so that he's there to play for the AHL Game Sunday and Monday. Call him back up Monday night after the All Star Game is done, then put Ramo to the AHL on a Conditioning Stint as he has missed enough games now to qualify for it.
Ortio gets a couple more weeks up with the Flames, the Flames aren't carrying 3 goalies, Ramo gets some playing time to either get better or show off for teams that they could potentially trade him to.
