Yak scores in the last shootout. Any bets he won't see this one in case he scores again?

Edit¤ and there he is. Who'd have thunk?

Sweet merciful crap!!! Oil win a game!

Imagine the depth of self loathing the Caps feel having the 7 game winning streak snapped by a team like the oil?

"it's impressive, that's their first winning streak since November."

Whoah Whoah Whoah. Really? That's what you would consider impressive? For shame.

Good game going in Detroit. 4-1 lead for Wings chipped away - beauty goal by Vanek on the 3rd Wild goal and bonehead play by Ericsson to give up fourth Wild goal. My son (probably Calgary's biggest Wild fan) is through the roof on this one - he was sure Wild were heading for yet another disappointing loss.

That's crazy. November 9 was the last time they won two games in a row. They haven't won more than 2 in a row since October 27.

Canucks lose, that's good.

LOL @ Edmonton now starting to play themselves out of the top two picks.

And, of course, Montreal gets a bunch of late powerplays in a 1-1 game at home. Including one in OT that led to the winning goal.

Predators are pissed at the referees. The coach and half the players all went over to give the zebras a piece of their minds.

Don't blame em. Garbage tripping call against Smith, Eller totally embellished it.

Good enough night for us so far. The Wild only got a point, Canucks lost. Stars currently 2-1 down to Boston.

That was a very weak call on Smith on OT. Don't blame Laviolette for getting upset.

Zac Rinaldo is a garbage human being. After the game, re: the Letang hit:

Like who is honestly dumb enough to throw a hit that ugly, get a game misconduct, and then brag that you changed the outcome of the game?

Funny to see Teemu Pulkkinen's absurd slapshot in the NHL.

He didn't really say that did he? Are we being pranked?

I hope he gets 10 games, it was an intentional and stupid play.

That was from a Flyers beat writer, who said it was indeed an actual quote, though it was "half-joking."

And he followed it up by saying he knew he'd be suspended because Letang is a star, and he has history and it's "the way the league is going."

I mean, even if you're lying through your teeth, you suck it up and say you hope the guy isn't hurt, blah blah blah.

Coyotes will out-suck the Oilers.

In situations like this a game in hand means you have played an extra game.

Default January 20, eight games.

“@NHLPlayerSafety: Philadelphia's Zac Rinaldo has been offered an in-person hearing for boarding/charging on Pittsburgh's Kris Letang. Date and time TBD.”
