Although the shot clock would suggest otherwise, it never felt like the Flames were under a complete onslaught. The Kings won the zone time for sure, and I would say Orito made 2 or 3 more huge saves than Quick did.

Hiller lost his starting Job already to 3 other goalies already. Not much of a stretch with his softy per Game.Ramo also had a great second half last year coming of his injury when they gave him some games over Berra.

It's clearly a bear, even though they are about the same height, I can see why you are confused.

So much happiness in that picture. The guys on the ice, the stick holding bear, Hartley and those ducks fans. Love it. That pic is hilarious.

bouma deserves some praise, as he's been elevated up the line up and responded to the extra minutes in a positive way. sure he's no gaudreau, but he always seems to make good things happen out there. backlund is also making his presence felt shift to shift.
been a dominant player.

with a 4 in 5 chance of making the post season in the tortuous west, i dare say this flames team may be for real.

I am not a believer of time of possession. Keep the other team to the outside and let them dance around all day long - all it takes is a mistake and Mony is breaking down on a partial breakaway.

I will say that our PP really bothered me with some of the cross ice passes which were lucky to not be batted down and turn into a odd man rush against.

Good to see Hartley celebrate too. Too bad we missed the OT double fist pump though.

Someone needs to merge the old .gif of Calgary being awarded the Olympics with Wideman's bench reaction.
