It is Martin Luther King Day in the USA and that is why there is a matinee on the east coast. Sportsnet is doing a discontinuous tripleheader which includes the Flames game. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/nhl-3-things-to-know-for-monday-1.2917725

Isles are putting the screws to Philly, 4-1 so far and Kulemin is leading the scoring with 2g and an assist.

5-2 for the NYI going into the 3rd. Tavares with a heck of a goal at the end of the 2nd. Slick hands!

What a turnaroun for NYI. Leddy and Boychuk are excellent additions.

Halak has been great for them too.

They are really vindicating the ballsy call to give Buffalo this year's first. And, good, because screw Buffalo. The only thing I like about them is they're out-sucking the Oilers right now.

I've watched the last three Panthers games on tv this month. Why are the seats behind the benches always so empty? There seems to be a decent amount of fans behind the goals and behind the penalty boxes but the other side is empty.

Who is this PBP guy for the Nuck game? He sounds like he's commentating his daughter's ballet recital

Joey Kenward. Nobody likes him. Shorthouse was hospitalized on the road trip after complications from a previous surgery. Shorty is now back in Vancouver and should be back after the all-star break.

Shorthouse is good. This guy might be the worst I have ever heard.

St Louis has a 3-1 lead on the Avs now.

Columbus and Minny are still tied

Watching the Leafs game. Two sweaters just hit the ice while the play was going on. Three in total so far.

The Blues held that lead and won 3-1. The BJs scored twice in the third period and also won 3-1.

The stinkin' Leafs keep continue their phenomenal losing streak as they lose again 4-1 to the Hurricanes.
