Who is your favorite and least favorite flame right now?
Some of the recent threads where we talk about hating Byron, Stajan, Glencross gave me the inspiration for this thread.
So who's your current favorite flame, least favorite flame, and why?
(There are no right and wrong answers for this one)
Mine:
Favorite: Gaudreau
Even though he's slowing down a little bit lately, I am always on the edge of my seat with excitement every time he gets the puck. Going to be interesting how he does last half of the season.. I think he keeps it going and finishes 55-62 points.
Least Favorite: Engelland
This guy just seems to scream "pylon" to me. He's super slow out there, never does anything useful, and has a crappy salary to boot. Wotherspoon as #4 D please, Wideman and Smid as #5 and #6.

Monahan and Diaz, respectively.
Monahan, Gio, Johnny, Backlund, and TJ were close.

Favourite : Backlund - most complete Flame in my opinion
Least: Hiller - Right hand catcher, letting in a lot of softies, hasn't been playing with the same fire now that he's been established as a go to guy (Bourque esque)

Yeah forgot about Hiller, I just caught up on the Florida game (only one I missed this year), and that performance was a debacle.. No wonder coaches have so much confidence in Ortio.

Favourite is Monahan with Johnny as a close second. Johnny is so exciting to watch and you see the Flames future with him but Monahan is a really good young player with potential to be great. I see him as the leader of the Flames moving forward.
I haven't ever really like Glencross. He was playing well before the injury but I still don't like him. Really hope his time with the Flames is coming to an end soon.

Giordano is my favorite.
Bollig isn't really bringing much to the table, so he's my least favorite.

I like a lot of players and really don't feel strongly negative about anyone, which is a nice change. I just have a hard time diss-liking a 7th defensemen or fourth-line grinder. So, I'll take this route: under-appreciated players: Colborne and Wideman and Bouma. They deserve more love.
