Who starts next game?
Ortio has only allowed 1 goal in 2 games. Ramo looks like he's ready to get back. Hiller hasn't had a start in a while. Hartley has stated he hates running with 3 goalies. So who gets the start against the Sharks?

Ortio, it's been earned.

Ortio keeps starting until he loses, it's not complicated.

Hiller, we need to know what we have with him. A decision needs to be made between Hiller and Ramo by the trade deadline IMO.

Thing is if Ortio keeps playing like this, Ramo could find himself on the trading block sooner rather than later. Would suck for the Adirondack Flames however, since if Ortio stay with the big club, their chances of making a deep run in the AHL playoffs may be compromised.

Hiller would be my choice, I think he's been slightly better than Ramo this year.
To answer the original question, Ortio. Like others have said, he's earned it.

Ortio until he loses. If he makes it to the break without losing, he goes down to get playing time. Then to Hiller until he loses, then to Ramo.
Trade Hiller at the deadline for a 1st (with salary retained), bring Ortio back up, and split the rest of the season between the finns.

I would extend Ramo. Try to get a first rounder from Nashville for Hiller.
And finish the season with a Ramo / Ortio tandem.

That would definitely be a dream scenario, although I think it would be hard to get a first back for Hiller regardless of retaining salary. Maybe packaged with a prospect or something but I think it would be tough to get a first for Hiller.

Rinne is only out for 3-5 weeks, not 3-5 months...
Look at the market for goalies over the last couple years, you aren't getting a first from anyone for either Ramo or Hiller

Ortio.
It's the whole "If it's not broke, don't fix it". 61 out of a possible 62 saves, 0.50 GAA and .984 SV%. How do you justify not starting him again?

The Flames already know what they have with Hiller, he's a slightly below average NHL goalie. Ramo is more of a mystery but so far he hasn't proven to better than Hiller.
Hartley will play the goalie he thinks will give them the best chance to win, so he's going to start Ortio.

Ortio. Hoping the ask Ramo to go for conditioning.
By the deadline I hope one of Ramo or Hiller gets traded. Whatever gets the better return. Nice to be offer a capable 1A/1B on an expiring, or with a year left, at average money, and the ability to retain $$. That's excellent management of goaltending flexibility.

Ortio 100%.... the other two have been wildly inconsistent. Trade or waive one of them, I don't care who, Ortio has earned a spot on the roster.

Premature statement. If you recall Karri Ramo had back to back shutouts on their last road trip through the pacific. You don't proclaim him the starter because of two games (although you could argue Ortio was more impressive in his two performances while allowing the one goal through two).
However, if he can sustain an impressive save percentage over say, 5 games, (assuming he earns that long of a look) against high end opponents and direct competition for playoff spots, then you ship out one of the bums ASAP.

Ortio will stop the stopping of this debate. Great play tonight, we will see him start. San Jose will be a great test.

You start Ortio. Don't take a goalie on a winning streak out unless it's a back to back.
