As a Brandon Browner fan, a Patriots/Seahawks Superbowl would be very intriguing...

Seacouver in the Highlander or the Seattle-Vancouver Super City in Mass Effect or Shadow Run.

Or were you trying to make out that these two great cities being similar is some sort of insult because you're petty and your team didn't do so well this season?

Nope. Not once in my post did I talk about the city itself. They are beautiful cities, other than the constant rain and subsequent depression that may settle in. I would take colder sunny days over warmer grey skies any day, but thats only my opinion of course.

But my post about the sports teams that reside in those cities? Yes, I stand by what I said regardless whether my favourite team is a championship winner or a soon-to-be 1st overall drafting team.

Its not just rival teams that don't like Seattle and Vancouver (Flames, 49ers) but fans league wide. Look at Vancouvers 2011 playoff run, the entire league was cheering against Vancouver. Same with Seattle, because they employ such unlikeable players all over their roster that is lead by a scummy coach, no body likes them.

I am just pointing out how similar Vancouvers and Seattles sports teams are, thats all. Nothing to do with the cities.

Kind of like how I am just pointing out how Niner fans are similar to Oiler fans because they constantly refer to championships won a generation ago?

GO HAWKS!!

Bit my tounge the first time, but since you brought it up a second time...do tell the unlikeable/scummy players "all over the roster"? Sherman, who likes to talk, and also likes to back it up and has the most interceptions in the league in the last handful of years, by a large margin is probably your easy one...And...?

Whoever those other supposed "unlikeable" players are can't be much worse than Aldon Smith and Ray McDonald on the 49'ers, both with multiple legal problems this past couple years. Seattle has no such players with those such serious legal issues in that same time period. So not sure what your definition of "scummy" is, but probably best to look in the team mirror first.

Part of me thinks its just a trolling response against a rival that has gone 5-2 against SF in the past 3 years when SF has been at the top of their game...evidenced by "no one likes them", which is more a product of the circle of 49ers fans you exclusively hang out with. The Seahawks have as many fans and as many anti-fans as any team that has success.

As a Cardinals fan I can honestly say that both of your teams are unlikeable, end of story .

Some Seahawks fans are annoying, but that can be said when any team is winning. The biggest thing with Seattle in general is they are arrogant, so it was nice to see them eat their words at the start of the year. Now that they are backing up their words with their play, they are bothering me again.

The biggest annoyance with Seattle is stupid Pete Carroll, I cannot stand that guy. I would love it if choked on his stupid gum when he is running up and down the sideline whining to the refs...Ok maybe not choke on his gum but hopefully he bites his cheek or something, one of those annoying bites that you keep biting every time you eat something.

I predict Seattle Seahawks - New England Patriots Super Bowl.

I don't think Green Bay Packers have any chance with The Seahawks at all, while New England might have a slight advantage with Indianapolis Colts. Could be an interesting weekend.

With a healthy Rodgers I think the Seahawks game could be close but considering Rodgers will still be 2-3 weeks from being 100% I think the Seahawks win by 10. Watching Rodgers struggle to move out of the pocket last week is a Seattle dream.

As for the Pats and Colts - I can't see Luck being denied. Everything seems to be going his way right now and I think he is less than 2 years away from being the best QB in the NFL.

Colts Hawks Final - 27-20 Hawks

I picked the Packers to go all the way prior to the season so I'm gonna keep flogging that horse. I wouldn't be upset to see the Colts win it all though... I'm a Pagano fan since his Baltimore days.

New England - Seattle Super Bowl. New England is on a mission this year and Seattle's D will be licking their chops over a limited mobility Rodgers

New England and Seattle win.....Brady seems ultra focused and don't think its Luck's turn...yet. Seattle is still the better team on the NFC side.

How is that even propaganda to start with?

OMG! He likes shoes, and hanging out with friends, and bought himself a car.

What an idiot.

Green Bay (+7.5) over Seattle - too many points
New England (-6.5) over Indy

Not quite the same. 49ers are at least competitive. No team in professional sports can be compared to the oilers. Come on haha.

But hey, if your gonna bring it up, 5 rings are 5 rings :

Anyone can post selective pictures between two individuals. I am actually not even a huge fan of Kaepernick, but nothing wrong with a guy liking hats and shoes. He also has his own charity that hes very involved with. So your point is moot.

Ray McDonald was never found guilty of any of his crimes (other than his latest one which is still being investigated). And the 49ers released him because of his actions so that solves that.

Aldon Smith had a drinking problem, which he went into rehab for and has seemingly corrected. Humans make mistakes, famous or not.

And I didn't mean "scummy" as in "legal" issues. I just meant the Seahawks employ people who are easy to hate.

Sherman is obviously the easy one. The guy doesn't know what the word humble means. The Hawks players are just extremely cocky and show no respect. Sherman, Lynch, Thomas, Pete Carrol (Vigneaut, Burrows, Kesler, Bieksa). They're all just so cocky and classless.

No trolling at all here. Yes any fan of a rival team is gonna dislike the opposition. Its just the same situation as Flames fans hating the Canucks. They're so easy to hate (and its just not just flames fans, fans across the league hate Vancouver.)

I just find Seattle eerily similar to Vancouver, right down to their jersey colours and team personnel, they're just in different sports leagues.

Agree in this case...live and let live as long as both are doing what they want and keeping their nose's clean.

Letting Aldon Smith play in a game 2 days after he drove to practice in the morning still drunk and hit a tree was questionable from the organization.

Listen to more than the post game 49ers interview; Sherman talks to the media every week, and has some pretty thoughtful things to say, in addition to being highly respectful of most opponents (Bryant, Fitzgerald, Rodgers this year to name a few). Not sure where you get the "lack of respect' tag for Lynch, Thomas and Carroll; again take a listen week in and week out (ok not to Lynch) and not sure where you get the "lack of respect"; its just those are damn good players that play for a coach who's energy and enthusiasm is infectious, fairly pretty unique and not just for show.

Do some of those guys and the team have some swagger out there? Absolutely; certainly on defense, ashaving the best defense statistically in they key categories in the league the last 2 years will do that; as soon as they got a pass rush to go along with the athletic LB's and shutdown secondary after losing to ATL 2 years ago, they've been dominant.

Your "jerseys color (Hartfords's 1992 blue jerseys are actually closer to the Seawhawks current shade ) and some players I don't like" argument as why you don't like the team may work for convenient for you and other 49er/Flames fans, and that's fine as part of the rivalry of fans, but IMO the jersey colors are about it, as far as the comparison between the franchises, their successes, and their in-league perceptions, go.
