In regards to Bouw, I'd take him under Hartley because he looked good in his last year here. People forget the dude was forced by Brent Sutter to be something he definately was not.

Anton Stralman is one that I would seriously like to have back.

Would like to add that Bouwmeester under Hartley was on pace for roughly 15 goals and 39 points. (Paging AC, Bouwmeester highlights for 12-13 please)

I wouldn't undo to trade though

Holy crap, that many people forgot how soft and weak Bouwmeester was for the majority of his time here! Here is a clue for you, look at his numbers playing in front of perhaps the deepest forward group in the NHL. Mind boggling.

So what's his excuse now? He has been brutal this year.

Yet somehow Ken Hitchcock sees him as being good enough to give him more shifts per game than everyone else except Pietrangelo. Go figure.

JB would be a massive upgrade to the second pairing here...albeit an expensive one.

He was an Olympian last year for a reason.

He would be a great player to have now on our second pairing. We would have a legit top 3.

Voted Bouwmeester as well. Of course it comes with the caveat that I'd want Poirier and Hunter Smith in the organization as well, but if Bouw were to simply teleport back on to the Flames tomorrow I think he'd be solid for us. Big-minute D man with great skating ability and the ability to at least try and chip in on offense every now and again. Would round out the top 4 nicely.

Bouw certainly seems to lack that "killer instinct", but in my mind makes up for it with overall consistency and durability. We have Gio as the main man on D now to bring that "it" factor now anyway. Bouw on this roster now in the situation it's in makes more sense to me than Bouw on the Flames roster he was actually on.

I voted none, but I have no problem with Bouwmeester

The expectations of him being a huge offensive threat ruined him for some fans and they'll never get over it I guess. He does everything else great

He hasn't just been handed expensive contracts, big minutes every night, a starting job on Team Canada in the Olympics and a top pairing role on one of the best teams in the NHL for no reason, it's crazy what some fans refuse to see

This was half way between none and Iginla for me.. I think the team is honestly better off without him at this point since it allowed Giordano to emerge as the hero he is.. but down the road I would still like to see him retire a Flame.

Just because.

Surprisingly little love for Cammalleri. IMO we could really use a veteran sniper like that.

And yeah, we could use an upgrade on the defense even more, but if I never see Bouwmeester play a game of hockey again I will be happier for it. I would even rather have Phaneuf and hope Hartley can do something about the holes in his game. Would also help the team on the toughness side.

But "None" is a pretty good option too

Has he not been hurt this year? Rip him all you want but he was a force the let 2 years. He would be a nice addition to our top 4 right now
