Let the comparisons continue:

Ortio's 36 stops is most saves in a #Flames shutout since Kiprusoff stopped 39 to beat Montreal in the Heritage Classic on Feb. 20, 2011.

This is incredible. It feels like I've been waiting for a win against that rat team for so bloody long now. Ortio gets a shutout and we beat Vancouver IN Vancouver?

Splendid.

We can not tolerate behavior like this on the forum. Ketchup was given to us from god to make cheap food taste better. I call for a life time ban, or at least a ketchup rehab for this poster!

I lost count of the number of shots the Flames blocked. Bodies diving everywhere to get a piece of the shot - wow!

Love the way Backs has played since his return. He seems to be developing some chemistry with Gaudreau and makes me wonder why we don't have Hudler on the same line.

Ortio looked very composed for his first game of the year. Didn't give the Cannots too many rebounds.

Canucks looked like a frustrated hockey team. Couldn't generate that many chances and even the sisters had trouble with their patented cycle game.

My feed glitched out on me at the end. What happened with Gio and that wussy poutine-on-everything grease ball?

A rookie Flames goalie stones the Canucks again! That reminded me of when Irving beat them. Awesome game and nice to see after last night.

Ketchup is the favourite condiment of sewer mutants. AKA Canucks fans. ARE YOU A CANUCKS FAN?

I thought the Flames truly deserved to win tonight. Great defensive effort, and we had our share of offensive chances - give credit to Eddie Lack doing his best Luongo impression while Ortio did his best Kipper impression. Gotta love a Flames win over the Canucks any day of the year.

So obviously Ortio gets the next start, Hartley has been rewarding success like that all year. If he continues to play that solid, what happens when Ramo is back and he and Hiller continue to be shaky?

Yea, you should take the night off after this one from earlier today:

Singalong time!

There was a team that beat the ’Nucks
and Ortio was a Flame-O.
O-R-T-I-O,
O-R-T-I-O,
O-R-T-I-O,
and Ortio was a Flame-O!

I’ll show myself out.
