If it were a really obvious dive, he would be given the 2 min. Then no fine, but a stern warning. It's the repeat offenders that this shame program are targeting.

I agree. The kid is playing his first NHL game of the season, wasn't expecting the hit from behind- probably freaked him out a bit. 'Sh*t I am not in net, what's going on'- he was flailing
