No problems here either. Great phone, couldn't be happier.
If I'd had to guess, I'd bet that the people who have bricked their phones probably did something to create the problem themselves. They just don't know what they did.
Some people should stick to an iPhone. Works great, just as long as you're happy using in the way Apple decided it should be used.

Well that's the most condescending piece of garbage I've read in a long time. I've been an Android user since Froyo, I'm quite comfortable with rooting and installing custom ROM's on my devices, and I know exactly what I "did" to my One, which is nothing. I've put Cyanogen on every other device I've owned, so with this phone I didn't see a need to do anything to it as it suited my preferences out of the box. But now I'm going to be forced down the custom ROM route hoping that someone has fixed all the issues that this badly managed company hasn't been able to (reading various forums, I'm definitely not alone in experiencing the issues I've noted)
So you're lucky, you got a phone that hasn't experienced any of the many technical issues that so many have had. My original launch Xbox 360 is also still running flawlessly, does that mean it's a perfect product and anyone that had a RROD issue is an idiot?

Hey pot, watch who you're calling black.
You're having a problem with a phone. Because of that, you (and others like RedMileDJ) are happy to proclaim to anyone within earshot that the oneplus is a piece of crap.
Guess what? No company and no phone is immune quality issues. Apple's iPhone 6+ flexing issues for example.
In another thread Ashasx is reporting problems with the "best smartphone on the planet" (and coincidentially RMDJ's new phone), the Xperia Z3. Let's proclaim that it is also No Good.
Your experience with the phone is NOT the final word on the quality of the phone as much as you would like to think it is.

We aren't isolated incidents. The OnePlus One is a well known problem child at this point with far more technical issues than the average you see from other manufacturers. And it's not just one or two issues that you see from other new devices, there are a myriad of problems that impact virtually every function of the phone that you see from just a quick Google search

http://www.androidauthority.com/7-co...ne-fix-536082/

Buying a phone from a brand new company with no track record was a risk, but with the low price it was one I was willing to take. However now that I know about the quality control issues, the terrible customer support, and Cyanogen cutting all ties with OnePlus making future updates questionable at best I would not recommend this phone to anyone currently looking

Lol, this is IOS vs Android all over again in here...
My OPO has been pretty good as well. I have had it freeze a few times, requiring me to reboot it. But nothing worse than that has happened.

I knew there was a reason I had you on ignore. Too bad I can't ignore when people quote you.
Anyway, if you've read the thread here you would know that I did nothing to brick my phone. I used the OnePlus One the way it came, out of the box. No ROMs, unlocked BS or rooting. I only use Google approved apps from the Play Store (Keep, gmail, etc).

My recent post about the OnePlus One being a piece of ####, is the first time I've actually said that...with that kind of emotion. Again, go back through the thread. I'm actually upset that I can't use the phone anymore. It's the first time I've EVER had an issue with a phone or Android.
I've had the following phones, and never had this issue:
Several flip phones
BlackBerry Torch
BlackBerry Tour
HTC Desire HD
Nexus 4
LG G3
Nexus 5
OnePlus One <--- only one to ever brick on me
Sony Xperia Z3.
If you don't believe the issues the OnePlus One has, have a look at the OnePlus forums. It's full of people having the exact same issues I had, if not worse.
I'll admit, the price point of the OnePlus, and the fact that it runs Cyanogenmod, were major factors in me picking it up. But if I had known that OnePlus uses left over, second rate parts and faulty software with numerous bugs, then I would have never bought it. But that's the chance you take on a start-up company and technology, I suppose.
Those of you that don't have issues: I'm happy for you. Enjoy your phones.
I think I've been pretty fair in my assessment and comments on OnePlus. It's my experience and the same experience others have had. But I've been hardly proclaiming to anyone within earshot that the oneplus is a piece of crap, as you say.

When did I say that wasn't good enough? I consider myself lucky to get a full refund, plus have OnePlus PAY for the shipping to send back the phone.
They literally had TNT come to my home and pick it up.

As I said before, I've been fair with my comments on this phone. It wasn't until I posted yesterday, that I've basically lashed out.
Everything I have posted has been fact and to the point, about my experience.

I think you have 24 hours to claim them so I can send today if you are fast or on Monday.

Was tempted to get this phone, but I recently tried installing CyanogenMod on my Nexus and it's been nothing but crap. Been having the same experience as a few here with weird quirks. Losing connection to rogers 5 times within 10 minutes, buttons becoming non responsive, freezing, hanging, volume control changing but volume not actually changing, and unable to unlock the phone within 20 seconds of locking it.
Put the stock image back on and works perfectly. I'm starting to think there are problems with CM.

Anyone getting completely crap battery life? Like 100%-15% by noon?
Any fixes or suggestions? This is my SO's phone so can't monitor myself regularly.

Sweet thanks. I'll try the snapdragon app.
By the way, did anyone buy the bamboo cover? Is it snazzy?

I get 2 days on mine. Just looked, 13 hours on battery today, sitting at 77%
One tip I read, and follow, is clear the cache after doing an update, as you always hear people complaining that the battery life plummeted after doing an update.
There are a few good battery life tips on the OnePlus forums.

I also have the phone as well. I really like it, interface is slick, battery life is great, no complaints here. Would gladly buy another one.
One thing I really like about the phone is the double tap to turn on.
