Wonder if Granlund stuck around in Calgary yesterday. If not poor guy racked up a bunch of airmiles.

Jeez, they are taking this inseparable thing a little far now.

(For those not in the know, there is a long standing joke on Twitter about how Ortio is a "father" to Granlund and they often appear in pictures together travelling from Finland and celebrating holidays together. They also happen to have the same birthday and so it just writes itself)

Jooris must have a bit of a lingering issue. Should just have him sit out until he's 100%. We have the guys to cover for a few games.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Granlund is on the ice for the #Flames this morning. Ortio is not.

Kinda wish they'd called up Arnold instead. Bump up Stajan's icetime and keep a right-handed shot in the line-up.

I think teams have up to 48 hours to book travel for players who are sent down, so he was probably booked on a flight to Montreal this morning and never set foot on the plane.

Granlund probably didn't even check out of his hotel.

I am a little surprised that they brought Granlund back instead of giving someone else a shot.

Derek Wills@Fan960WillsThere WAS some debate over what the #Flames first line was...not anymore. Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler should be fun to watch.

Welcome back Granlund!!

Probably wouldn't be very respectful to tell Granlund he's going back down due to a numbers game, then 6 hours later recall someone else to fill in for Jooris.

I am glad with Backlund back in the fold they can unleash Monahan with Johnny and Hudler. Should help Monny break out of his goal scoring slump in a big way.

Kind of surprised Granlund got the call again over another player in Addy that maybe could have got called up. Seems like he needs to work on his game as it has noticeably dipped.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Ramo has an upper body injury. Hartley says its minor and the news is pretty good. #Flames

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley says Jooris is out with the nagging injury he's been battling. No timetable for him at this point. #Flames

Granlund is accustomed to NHL and it would make more sense not to mess with chemistry down in Adirondack.

Also what bandwagon said.
