The Hurricanes won 2-1 in the shootout.

After a scoreless first period, the Capitals took a 3-2 lead in a wild second period against the Panthers. Ovechkin scored his 19th goal of the season and it is now 4-2 late in the third period.

'Hawks get sloppy in front of Crawford, Jamie Benn scores from Seguin...They get it back with an instant replay of Saad's Winter Classic goal, from Toews and Seabrook...1-1 after 1

Jordie Benn gets a goal from Cole and Hemsky (as Spezza is interfering with Crawford's stick, with no call)...Kane answers when Sharp undresses the Dallas D AND Lehthonen...But Eric Cole answers right back from Klingberg and Goligoski...3-2 Dallas at the midway point....

The goals came fast in the second period as the Stars have the 3-2 lead, it is nice having both feeds for this game.

The Lightning are now up 4-2 midway through the third period.

The BJs have a 3-2 lead over the Avalanche and the Ducks lead 2-1, both games midway through the second period.

Oh thats just wonderful. Halak was virtually unbeatable against us, tonight he makes a terrible error that gives Edmonton the lead in the 1st period. Cheers.

Dallas Stars want a playoff spot - they have been in Beast Mode trying to climb up the standings.

Klinkhammer makes his presence felt in his 1st game, assists on Hendricks goal for the mighty Oil.

Faith ....?
What faith?
Having given up on the season long ago and gone thru frustration to anger to resignation, I'm enjoying the games much more. I don't get upset if they lose anymore but I'm happy if they are simply competing well in games.
No pressure at all to win. Thanks anyway thou .....
