The most important thing the Flames could do, IMO, is to find a not-old legitimate #4 defenseman who is a physical, defensive presence.

Wideman's goals were welcome earlier this year, but the team needs a different type of player on the second pairing with Russell and on the PK.

I haven't watched him much, but the glimpses of Matt Bartkowski that I've seen make me really regret that Iggy nixed the trade to Boston.

Cali I think the win in Anaheim is more like a symbol that we are ready to move on from the crumminess of the last 10 years. Putting an end to that streak is another indication that the time is for real.. The actual 2 wins don't mean anything in terms of points and playoffs, it's more what they represent.

I hate to say it but... To lose more!!! I want to be in the McEichel sweepstakes!! Not the brink of a playoff spot.

Unless Chiarelli massively derps and allows Bartkowski to enter free agency this summer, it's kind of a iffy stretch.

There's a reason why he's often been a healthy scratch this year. He's a 6/7 guy.

I would probably say play tougher and don't get pushed around as much.

Hamilton/Krug/McQuaid are all more important d-man that need new contracts this summer.
