If it ruined their Christmas, it kind of suggests that she was afraid that her daughter would know what it resembled.
In which case, one would have to wonder how she would know at that age.

It does look like a dildo, but I like the mother in that post saying it ruined their Christmas. I doubt the kid knows or gives two ####s that their toy moderately resembles a sex toy.
Are bananas and Popsicles off the table too. Do you which foods are shaped like dicks? The best kinds.

There's something hilariously awesome about the ellipsis immediately following the word "their" and preceding the picture of the phallic Play-Doh toy. "... because my daughters LOVE play-doh and their new... [picture of penis toy]".
Really though, parents with hyperactive imaginations and society's beloved taboo about anything that might be even remotely sexual at work once again.

The things parents will complain about. "Oh god it resembles a penis, let's freak out". It's a part of the human anatomy, we don't need to act like it's something wrong or terrible.
Unless "Kid's First Heroin Addiction" was in the box, it probably isn't enough to ruin Christmas.
And obviously this woman has never decorated a cake with a plastic decorator. I have professional ones in my cupboard that look like that. It is how they look. My kid has even used one and I don't think she's a sex addict or scarred for life now.

My little guy got this set for Christmas. His mother and I giggled when we saw that piece but he doesn't see the resemblance and he likes playing with it. That mother who posted that is a total idiot.
