Yep. This is the last year I am going to like Virtanen. After he leave the Calgary Hitmen he is no good to me unless the Canucks trade him somewhere other than the Oilers.

PP to the start the third, let's add to the lead boys! So far this game has had a lot of energy, I hope it stays that was in the 3rd.

1-0 for the Czechs after 1.

So Canada will either get Denmark or the Russians if the the Czechs win in reulation, depending on how this game turns out.
Pretty big difference.

if history has proven one thing it's that the Oilers will draft the wrong one, so don't worry to much about it MacT

MacT seemed pretty sleepy in that interview. Yikes. Was barely coherent.

From a purely entertainment standpoint I'd love to see a Canada/Russia quarters.

Hahaha, wow. How embarrassing is it that MacT is getting interviewed at the World Jr. game, basically saying "so which player are you going to take first overall THIS YEAR?"
Unreal. I'd stay hidden if I were him.

Its kind of sickening seeing MacTavish already licking his chops about the upcoming draft.

Huge difference. The road to the finals would be Denmark in the Quarterfinals and the winner of Czech-o-Slovakia in the semis for the winner of today's CAN/USA game and Russia in the quarters, and Sweden in the semis for the loser of CAN/USA.
Of course, the Czechs winning in regulation is still a big maybe right now.

They must be tanking. Your GM doesn't come scout those guys not even half way through the season. That's despicable.

In all honesty, it's probably a good idea for him to be there with where his team is in the standings, but for gods' sake, don't accept an interview on national television.

I think any GM would do it if they were in that position, but yes, they are tanking.

Shouldn't you be scouting your own team to see which guy to possibly move going forward?
