I thought it would be hard to have a better game than that Can/Fin one two days ago (or even the Swe/Rus one), but so far, this has taken it all up a notch.

Good. The only thing better than his trash talking is how pissed it makes so many people.

Well for one thing, it's better hockey, so it's easier to justify the higher cost of a ticket and the value for it.

Except there's 41 of them a year and this is the only US/Canada game for the WJC in Montreal for who knows how long. The overall talent level at a Habs game is higher, but this is a bigger event. And it's still cheaper.

Has anyone else noticed the bozo in the Phaneuf leafs Jersey in the corner? A Phaneuf Leafs Jersey to a Canada - USA game. Sigh.

It's pretty much been all-Canada all game long. The Americans have had their moments, but just can't sustain the way Canada has.

At one point I thought Morrissey might have fallen to our #22 pick in 2013. He would've been an awesome addition for the Flames. I guess we'll just have to settle with Poirier .

I just hope Canada keeps finishing and missing all of these chances doesn't end up coming back to bite them.

Have they found Tie in the crowd yet, or, has Tie told TSN where to find him in the crowd? Is Bill Comrie with him again or did Bill and wife wise up and move seats from last game?

Yeah and I hate to say it, but it looks like Vancouver has a pretty good goalie prospect on their hands with Demko. He has kept them in it (even though it's 2-0).

You're saying that like Vancouver won't somehow #### up another goalie situation.
