Last game we went to, the seats were in the Flames attack end - 118 or 119? I don't really remember. We were only a few rows up from the glass, right on the aisle (I know where we were sitting, would have been under water when the flood hit). It was an awful lot of fun.

In the very back row behind the net for Game 1 of the 1986 Stanley Cup Finals. I was only 7, not yet old enough to know the significance of the game.

Speaking of being a wee lad back in the day, I remember when my dad used to take me to 1 game each year, up in section SS1, Row 44 (!).

They were tickets from his work -- was a real treat for a young hockey fan. I'll have to snap a photo of the old Saddledome seating chart from way back when -- prices were astonishingly low

I sat directly behind the visiting team's penalty box on Iggy's return game to Calgary against Boston.

I made a tiny little sign that said 'YOU SUCK' and got it on national TV when Matt Fraser got a penalty. Now that he's with the Oilers, you better bet he believes it.

I was at a pub one time in the early 90's and a guy walked up, said he couldn't make the game and gave me and a buddy tickets. We got there and grabbed a beer, started walking up and up and up, finally found the seats with our backs to the concrete. It was like watching the game on the overhead replay cam

Don't go to any Flames games (can't afford tickets) but have season tickets to the Hitmen.
Section 211 row 4 seats 23 & 24, great seats end of a row no-one behind and right behind the Flames/Hitmen bench. Plus extremely quick access to the parkade for getting out before he majority of the other fans.

My wife had connections and got us seats in the first row of the 2nd deck in Section 212 (Gold Seats) for the game versus the Boston Bruins where the dude climed over the glass wearing nothing but red socks. I was directly across from it, and saw the guy running down the stairs towards the penalty boxes. It took me a couple seconds to realize that he was buck naked. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. Coolest moment at the Dome that wasn't hockey related.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to watch a Flames game in the Owner's box back in 2010. It was the night after they traded Phaneuf. That made for some interesting conversation...

It didn't help that the Flames got shelled 3-0 by Philly, but the seats were incredible!

Best I've sat in was 213, row 2.

If I had my choice of any seats it would be 212, row 1, while 314, row 1 is also phenomenal.

If I specifically want to concentrate on one or two players and not the game itself (junior games), I'll go for first few rows of 202, 208, 216, 222 - end depending on if they're a defenceman or foward - as they offer the best angles to judge players.

10 years old at the Olympics we sat row 1 section 226 for Canada vs Soviet Union. Was so excited and then Canada got smashed 5-0. Broke my heart but I will never forget it.

Love how most comments are citing seats in the 200's near the front, couldn't agree more. Being right up against the glass are the glamour seats, but aren't close to the best IMO. It's awesome when the action's right in front of you, but sucks when the action's in the other end.

Not a big fan of right behind the bench either. Sat there once, the sight lines are kinda poor, and you're so close you can smell the players, who freaking STINK.

1st row, centre ice in the 2nd deck can't be beat IMO. Great view of the action no matter where it is, and you have a makeshift beer counter.

Agreed. Sat front row behind the glass for a few games. Nice to see the play up close when its there, terrible to watch the game itself though.

Our season tickets have been all over the place, Restaurant, 209, 210, 211, 204 and now back to 210. We've also had seats in 212, 227, club seats, right against the glass as well as a couple of times behind the Flames bench, and in PL for the odd game.

I was in the owner's box about a week before Phaneuf was traded - the conversation my husband had with one of the owners was interesting in retrospect. That was a cool experience, so was the one game we watched in the press box. I think best value for money is 212 row 10 or 11 - first row after the reds, right on the red line.

Best sight lines for the building are up in the corners of the 200s. Anything lower than that, you miss a lot of the little things.

EDIT: And the press box is pretty sweet.

Game 6 of the '04 finals. Second bowl, I think 3rd row? Center ice.
One of the top experiences of my life, and what made them even better seats is that they were free. Given to me by a random passenger on the plane whom I had never met before.

Lower level private box. Not for the view, but the chicken wings they serve in those boxes are the size of KFC drumsticks.

Ya it was definitely a strange mood when I went to the game... Murray Edwards flat out asked me at one point what my thoughts were on the trade.

One of the Avison Young suites was a fun time. Dated a girl who's dad was AY's Vice Pres. Should have stuck with her for those seats alone.

One of my old restaurants had corporate tickets that always seemed to go to me. Sec 110 row 5. Absolute blast. You miss a lot, but being that close to the action is so fun
