Rafikov takes a high sticking penalty to give Switzerland a 13 second 5 on 3

Wasn't a "clean hit" because it was likely interference, but that was all body.

The stretcher is coming out but I think that's either a 2 min minor or nothing at all

Does anyone at Molson realize how flat these "feel good story" commercials fall?

Last year they had the one with the three ######s where one of them moved to Indonesia and he was trying to teach people to play hockey. And this year they have the one with his dad, which is more interesting, but they keep playing the version that doesn't explain the USSR crumbling and no hockey funding in Estonia which makes it make much more sense. It's just "My dad moved us to Canada so I could play hockey" ... uhh what?

God damn terrible marketing team.

oh ... phew. I was worried for a minute we weren't going to get over-reactionary IIHF reffing on that hit ... but thankfully they've upgraded it to a 5 minute major.

Rafikov had the chance to lay someone out with a big hit, but holds up.

Not a bad choice I think. The injury earlier combined with another devastating hit could've made thing real ugly and a knee jerk reaction discipline for Rushan.

LOL Swiss had two 2 on 1 shorthanded chances in one shift to break the shutout bid, but hit the post both times.
