Then you aren't referring to mdma, you are referring to bath salts. Moot point.

Yeah man, you're right, all the drugs you buy are pure MDMA.
I'd recommend you get your next batch tested before you ingest it.
I'd like to add that MDMA isn't as harmless as you claim:

In addition, long-term exposure to MDMA in humans has been shown to produce marked neurotoxicity in serotonergic axon terminals.[20][26][27] Neurotoxic damage to axon terminals has been shown to persist for more than two years

Im no doctor, but sounds like a bit of a panic attack (chest pains, breathing, anxiety). If it was an actual OD you would not be typing on a message board.
Hope OP is okay and remember nobody on the internet can diagnose you. Be smart and go to emerge, your parents wont be upset.

Right.
As if your dealer is going to say "Naw man...it's not pure. Has some crazy crap mixed in with it". No...he's gonna say whatever it takes to make the sale.
Dealer is your best friend? Might be honest, but was his dealer honest too?
So many factors. Too many unknown "what ifs".

Drug dealers, gangbangers, and Mexican cartels are the last people I'd put my trust in. Especially when it comes to my physical wellbeing.

Never said mdma was harmless, so dont go putting words into my mouth. There is no such thing as a drug without side effects. If you want to talk about harmful drugs, lets talk about alcohol. More deaths and alcohol related illnesses than all illicit drugs put together.
I have stated that there are psychotherapeutic uses/ benefits of mdma. Matter of fact, in trials it has proven to successfully treat ptsd in war veterans at an astonishingly successful rate. Better than amy other treatment found so far.
If adults want to use mdma recreationally, they should have that right. If they made these drugs legal, we wouldnt have to worry about their purity. The war on drugs does no good, only harm. Knee jerk reactions and uneducated opinions do no good for curious people either.
Look on erowid.org for zero bull#### on any drug.
I am not a recreational drug user of any kind either. I experimented as a teen/young man many years ago like most people do. I do not drink alcohol or even caffeine.

You're right. You didn't say MDMA was harmless. You actually said it was amazing. First time I've heard a neurotoxin called amazing.

Again, do you really want to compare neurotoxic effects of mdma with the neurotoxic effects of alcohol? Do you drink alcohol? If you do you and you enjoy its effects you might just be a giant hypocrite.

Basic rule of thumb for life, if you really can't tell your parents, wife or kids something in a emergency you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

This thread isn't about alcohol, son. And I haven't made a ridiculous claim like "alcohol is amazing"
Choose your wording better next time. Sure there have been some infancy research showing that MDMA can help treat PTSD. But you've completely avoided the toxicity problems such as acute hepatitis, serotonin syndrome, dehydration, hyponatremia, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and concerning long term chronic psychological problems like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and memory impairment.

Child, please. You are coming off ridiculous in this debate. I will repeat, no drug is without side effects. I dont advocate for the drugs long term recreational use. It is an amazing drug and it is saving lives as we speak.

Ah yes, the old "but other things are harmful too!" debate.
This thread started as a teenager scared for his health after taking said drug (who still hasn't checked in, by the way), and turned from genuine concern into "Dang, too bad, that drug is pretty awesome." Yes, let's encourage our youth to try more things that will negatively affect their health.

If you are that concerned with discouraging our youth from taking drugs, then you should be advocating for their legalization and fact based education. Straight talk, instead of scare tactics. Get off your moral high horse.

It's all in the same league, imo. "Don't do drugs" is fine, but I'm in the group that puts alcohol and smoking in the same group as drugs.
They all alter your mind and have negative long term health affects, along with varying levels of addiction based on the person, and alcohol and cigarettes aren't at the bottom of the list for addictiveness out of all the "drugs".
Again, it's fine to say whatever people want to say about them, but I do agree to an extent that being a drinker and pointing to a drug user and saying "I can't believe it, you shouldn't do drugs" is a little odd, and is typically bred more from the "Drugs are illegal so you're bad and wrong to use them" viewpoint then a "drugs are worse than alcohol and cigarettes" viewpoint.
All the more reason to legalize drugs and control the quality, and provide the proper avenues for treatment/support and avoid these types of situations where a (seemingly) young person is a making a potentially fatal choice to keep something quiet based on the "drugs are bad cause they're illegal and you're terrible and wrong if you do them" mantra.

Also, Zach, make sure to check in and let everyone know you're okay. Although, if I was to guess based on what you were describing it sounds more like common reaction to "uppers", which means you likely had "Speedy" ecstasy rather than "relaxing" mdma.
Heart palpations and compressed breathing will happen and you'll likely be fine. Keeping in mind I'm only saying that because I know he is no longer reading and taking advice on what to do/not do. If I thought he was still taking advice I would tell him to call 911 without hesitation, as you never know and I'm not a doctor or even there to see the symptoms.
