He had some brilliiant spots in the game. Just never really translated to anything substantial. Kid is quick though and has amazing mitts. Blocked shots like a Bouma, took one in the chest that stung him.

Mcdavid was basically invisible all game. Provided very little offense. Severely underwhelming for a so called generational talent.

my main concern with him was how he seemed to give up a few times when he was cut off the puck instead of fighting through. He is coming off a long layoff though due to the broken hand so could just be getting his timing back.
