Default Remaining Schedule

Looked at the schedule to see if there were any particularily easy stretches coming up.

Other than a few pockets where we play the Oilers there are essentially no easy games left.

I think this is the year with the most parity that I have seen in a long time. Even the usual losers are now competitve.

It'll be interesting to see if the Flames can get out of the current rut they are in and regain the confidence they had at the start of the season. Playing the Oilers on the 27th should help.

In order to be the best, we'll have to beat the best. (Jan. onward of course)

I don't think the Flames look at any game as easy. They know they are the underdogs this year which is what has driven them to play with the heart they have shown throughout the early part of the season. If they continue to play that way, they'll be fine.

Is there ever an easy stretch of the schedule?

The teams they've played so far have a better winning percentage than the teams they play going forward.

Probably the easiest stretch they've played to date was Panthers, Hurricanes, Coyotes and Senators, but the game before that stretch was Tampa and the two games after were Ducks and Blackhawks.

Probably the easiest stretch going forward is a homestand against Flyers, CBJ, Avs and Stars.

Since the Oilers changed their coach, I don't see them being the push overs in the future that they have been. No team enjoys being the laughing stock of the league and they will probably be trying a lot harder.

Considering they haven't even enjoyed those few bounce back games you often get after a coaching change I would disagree.

This team has no heart at all. They accept losing far more than they should.

I think it speaks quite loud as to the intentions of Mr. Katz. He's pretty happy shuffling some deck chairs to grab McDavid. He's only worried about next year once they have their next phenom.

Pretty sure he didn't want to right this ship (if even possible) just yet. The team is actually still short on Nhl talent after all these years of high drafting.

It's pretty clear that Yak,Hall and Nuge aren't Kane, Stamkos and Tavares. Their not E. Johnson, Sid and Ovie and probably not as good as M.A Fleury, Nash and Kovalchuk.

So, they truly have player development issues and I think it starts with lack of vets, toughness, proper experienced coaching and work ethic.

This new coach may have 1 regulation win after his first 10 games.
