Didn't know where else to put this, but if we combine Giordano's 13/14 and 14/15 point totals (thus far), he's scored 81 points (24 goals, 57 assists) in 100 games. That's pretty remarkable.

No doubt, love how he gives not one but two "Yeaaaaah!"s in this one.
(This time last year vs Blues)

I was out of town for the last three weeks while all the losing was happening. Now that I'm back, they're winning again. Coincidence?

Should give some love to Bollig for the hit on Kopitar. Kings fans on HF seem to attribute a loss of LA mojo after that; gave Clifford tons of crap for not doing anything aggressive outside of giving Hiller a spray of ice.

Yup. It might be hard for a lot of people to admit it, but the turnaround happened when the Flames started pushing back physically. There were a few hits, but the big ones were Bollig primarily and Giordano.
Bollig hasn't been great this year, but they need his physicality. Hartley has to find a way to keep him playing like that. If he can, he'll stay in the lineup.

Great hit. Kopitar clearly sees him coming and even braces for it. What makes it impressive is that Kopitar has some of the best balance in the league

Man he needs to do that more, protect his brain and stop fighting. Best hitter on the team obviously. The hit silenced the crowd and you could hear an audible gasp. It was as if they realized that the Flames are in fact not pushovers and they aren't giving up and instantly the Flames started skating more and turned things around. Don't ice Mcrgattan, Bollig actually had an impact on the result of the game.

Turns out Gaudreau scored his 2nd goal because the Kings were playing Oiler Swarm defense:
On a serious note... Gaudreau really seems to have the ability to draw players towards him. It's uncanny.

Sat down and got to watch the game last night, the one thing that really stood out for me was the fact we didn't let the Kings intimidate us and push us around, we always pushed back. There was a number of occasions where Bouma (or was it Byron, I always get those two mixed up) was pushing and shoving with Doughty on the boards, giving up a lot of height but he never backed down. The kings are a big team and they try to grind you down but we never let them, we kept pushing back, even though we are a smaller team.
Bollig was finally playing the way I expected him too when we traded for him, playing the body, dumping players on their a$$, annoying the other team, always in the scrums when he is on the ice. We need more of this from him as the season wears on.

It was Byron and it was a great shift that led to more pressure.
And I agree with you. They really pushed back and it got them back into the game.

Loved that goal, one minute he's behind the net in a seemingly innocuous position, the next thing you know he's found a seam between all 5 LA defenders and is in no mans land between all of them.

All while Drew Effing Doughty is hacking and holding him.

I was thinking the same thing right after he scored. All the LA guys were looking at each other like, "what just happened"?
