Boo, I'm not able to watch the game tonight but it doesn't sound like we are playing smart hockey tonight. I hope they really turn it around.

They've settled down a bit since the Nash goal. Just need a break to go our way for a change, and this game will turn around.

Heck with wins I'm beginning to wonder how many goals this team will score in the rest of 2014. Offense has completely dried up and if the Rangers score another goal you get the feeling it's game over.

It's not necessarily ignorant but just like some people are unreasonably optimistic you have a habit of being unreasonably pessimistic. We all come here to be fans together and discuss the team.

We all also know that the Flames are on a 5-game losing streak and they are down 1-0 looking at a 6-game streak. We want to believe in our team and hope for the best (like the excitement of all those early games where we tied it with a minute left in regulation). When you keep putting down the team, you're putting down everyone's desire to believe and it's honestly a bit of a buzzkill.

I hope you understand a little why people keep reacting negatively to you, we just want to enjoy the game with an upbeat feeling.

(I guess I don't claim to speak for everyone, but I think this would be representative of a lot of them)

Yeah they got shut out a few times between the holidays and that game against the Canucks where Torts lost it in January. Looks like they are following the same path this season.

Agreed. Flames need to tie this up quickly if they want to end the skid tonight. I think the best thing for them would be a convincing multi-goal win. A good dose of confidence will go a long way with these guys.
