Definitely, you can't make those plays. That being said, if you don't inhibit a player from doing something or getting somewhere, it shouldn't be a penalty.

That would be a nightmare for refs imo. It seems like it would be unrealistic in practice.

Given the start, it has be fairly encouraging to go into the break only down by 1. Way better second half...compete level is back up.

It's only game two for Colborne since the injury, and he's definitely shown offensive flashes, but good lord he's been awful in the defensive zone so far. Several Flames have been. Would be nice to see some smarter breakouts, as the last four games have been lacking in that area and leading to some unreal chances against.
