I know its only 20K by why aren't you offering cap for next year. I routinely give more next year cap for cap this year.

I believe in reciprocity. So Hesla helps me out now and I will return the favor down the road somehow.
This is no different than when AHL scrubs are traded for nothing.

I disagree. There is a clear way that you could be sending something back to him. Player movement like moving scrubs requires "futures" but in the case of cap - almost everyone sends $$$ for next year.
I'm not trying to be a dick - it just seems like there is no reason for this to happen this way. I can go through and final dozens of trades made where the team getting the cap this year gives us cap next year.

I have sent small amounts of cap to teams that have needed it in the past and didn't ask for cap for following year. If you don't like it I guess you can discuss with the commish team and decide if you want to make a new rule or not.
You can be a dick, I don't mind.

I used to think he was a jerk, but then I realized he is just intense. Then I stopped caring.. I can't hold grudges, I am horrible at it.
I had no idea he had red hair though... might have to re think this..
