Try Michael's.
And never ever pay full price in that joint. They always have 40% off or 50% off coupons. they'll even accept them if you call one up on your phone off their website.

The bay. The downtown location usually has their christmas stuff %40 off a couple weeks before christmas.

For those that don't know what to get for g/f wife:
Step 1: Ask yourself - Do I know her interests and hobbies?
If yes: Get something related to those hobbies and interests with one corollary... Make sure you don't get kitchen appliance stuff even if the hobby is baking/cooking.
If no: Figure out why you have no idea what her interests/hobbies are and then buy jewelry or spa weekend or preferably both while vowing to do better next time.

If she doesn't have one thats special from her childhood already go the extra mile and get a handmade one from the farmers market or another christmas market.
both my wife and I have our stockings from when we were 2-3 years old and my grandmother knit our kids each a stocking to have forever.
if your going to do this (good idea btw) then put more effort into it than a Canadian tire stocking

I should perhaps add that the last time I asked for PJs, I also got a pair of diamond stud earrings tucked in the pocket. I dont expect to find the same this time around, nor do I want them.
Perhaps I should also add that sometimes I ask for kitchenware/small kitchen appliances or house appliances (asked for a vacuum once - not a Dyson or anything) and don't get mad when I receive them.
Besides, we'll have a 25th wedding anniversary next August. If he wants to surprise me with a gift for that, he can save it until then - I'd much rather make a bit of fuss about that.

You have the right attitude.
I basically ask my wife too and she tells me, it's about the same as yours.

She may have one from her childhood but her parents would have it and she hasn't spoken to them in years. That is why I wanted to do it for her and I am definitely up for putting the effort in to get her a good one that has her name on it. Canadian tire was just the first place I looked. I have found a few way better options with the suggestions on here!

Does anyone know any good Great Dane or St. Bernard breeders in the city or near by? Closest I've found is Fort Sask.

There is a 4 year old St. Bernard up for adoption through the Calgary Humane Society (ref# A24241798). I know a puppy is way cuter and all but I thought I would throw this out there to try and help him out.

Thanks. Trying to get one younger though. We have 2 dogs already and 2 kids plus a cat so I find it's better training them myself and a puppy might get used to the pack easier. I should go check out that 4 year old boy though and see how his temperment is. Thanks dude.

I start with the standards and branch out from there: - Pyjamas
- 365 Day Calendar for her desk at work
- Hat & Mittens
- Sweater
- Piece of jewelery for daily use
- Book(s); especially if there's a new book in a series she reads
From there see if anything catches my eye. Part of the problem with Christmas shopping is if we need anything we just get it, so gifting is next to impossible.

Indeed. Everyone knows Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag is far superior.
