Buffalo has been playing well lately. Not surprising they are playing us tough at home.

Let's get another one. Lately, whenever we score the opposition replies almost immediately.

Your definition of 'scrub' is awful. These guys aren't even tweeners. Just because they dont score 30 goals every season doesnt mean they dont have a place in the NHL

Not a surprise that the Flames respond with positive action, heart and faith in their team.

A small portion of the "faithful" here should take notice.

Agree, the third pair is terrible. But watch the goal again, Bouma with another one of his stupid plays to help pin them in their own end.

Flames have to take a page out of Jooris' book.

He's been the best Flame by far tonight. Playing with real urgency.

Nice to be in a tie game finally. That whole playing from behind thing was getting annoying. Despite a couple of defensive lapses the Flames have been good in this game. Big 3rd period coming up. We really need 2 points tonight.

Exactly! Bouma is an excellent shot blocker and Byron with his speed is great on the PK.

Said it before and I'll say it again, he almost always makes smart plays. Even tonight, every time he's on the ice he does something useful, on or off the puck. Add that hockey IQ to his non stop work rate and it makes for a very effective hockey player.

So with it all tied up going into our best period, can we settle down in here?

The 3rd pairing is really the only thing we can harp on or boys about. They are their usual awful, but if the worst pairing on the team is the biggest problem we're having... I can live with that.

This goalie shut out LA the other night, and they are the lowest scoring team on a hot-steak. We are not paying poorly and great teams have had this struggle with Buffalo lately.

This isn't the apocalypse, and this isn't the start to something terrible. We will hear enough 'I told you so's on every loss from the rest of the hockey world... why do we have to propagate it here too?

GFG
