Don't you think that's a little drastic?

That's a hell of a conclusion to make, wow! I believe that you are wrong.

Hahaha, Stajan has not played at least 19 games per season since 2010-2011. That was a very drastic response.

Hartley says "don't be surprised" if Colborne is in tonight. He's missed the last 18 games with a wrist injury. Says 99.9% he's in. #Flames

Colborne is a big boost to the lineup, I hope he plays on a line with Gaudreau again. Maybe at C with Jones or Jooris on RW.

Depends on where they plan on playing Colborne. If Hartley wants him at centre, they probably send down Granlund.

Stajan has skated as he ever did well in the last couple games. He was one of the better fwds against Toronto.
Either Hartley is messing with people or Stajan needs some maintenance.
You have to think Smid is banged a bit too, since of the bottom 3 d-men he is the best.

He was awful against Toronto. I think this is directly linked to performance.

Solid analysis from a large sample size of two games and 20 minutes total ice time.

He did get tangled up awkwardly in the Toronto game, may not have felt too good on the knee.

This has been quoted to death already, but one more doesn't hurt. How has Stajan hindered the 4th line? I see him creating offensive opportunities when on the ice. He helps us reach the cap floor and is a great guy to have around.
I would love to have Stajan around as a depth centre for a playoff run. Good on PK, face-offs and makes great passes.

Or his bad stats the entire season. He's not big, he's not strong, he's not fast and he doesn't put up points. I get the love for the guy just think his career is going to wind down fast due to how many centers we have that are better, he's not particularly good at anything whereas others excel at certain traits. Just an opinion based on his performance the entire season

Buffalo has been a bit better but it's honestly been mostly Enroth. He's been the best player and first star in probably 5 or 6 of those wins. If he has an off night, or even an average night, Calgary should win easy.
That being said, I hope he plays great and we get a solid game! It's probably better for my allegiance to both teams to have Calgary win, but I don't want Buffalo to be embarrassed either.

I was standing a few meters from burke when he said "When stajan is your 3rd or 4th line center, that will be a good indication you are closer to being a playoff team"
This was shortly after Stajan's latest contract extension. This is the plan, he will be the depth guy.

Flames need to win this one or I'll start to be worried that we are coming back down to earth and if it starts this early, then we probably won't hold on to a play off spot.
COME ON FLAMES.
