A bunch of my friends play it, they got me to install it. I spent some money on it, had it on my phone for about 5 months but uninstalled it last week. It's pretty boring.

I've been playing since April, and have spent more time on it than I care to admit.

For those just starting out though, some general tips: don't rush your town hall and find a good clan! Being part of a good clan that donates a lot and wins wars makes the game much more enjoyable.

We will accept anyone, but will do a kick/invite for taking our better players to War with us twice a week. Usually do 15 or 20.

Highly active, and win most wars.

In a pretty solid clan where most know each other locally from us. Kinda nice, not a bunch of kids swearing and all that.

I deleted this game and installed Godus instead. I never used money in Clash of Clans, but I did for Godus.

Godus is a very different game.

Honest question: Who actually started playing due to the Kate Upton commercial?

I just joined a clan called 'Calgary Flames', they seem like a solid group so I'm gonna give them a shot if not I'll join your clan Robo.

Even in the clan they all know that Edmonton = No Good.

I don't play Clans but I do like Boom Beach by the same company. I'm in a group called "Calgary YYC". We need more people so new members are welcome.

I played for a year and stopped after they introduced the clan wars. I couldn't keep up. Loved the game though. Agree that a really good clan makes you and the game a lot better.

Plan to start playing Star Wars: Commander, which is a rip off of COC but with Star Wars stuff. I have had it installed for a while now...just scared to launch it and get sucked in again.

relying just on raids to get DE is hard, especially when you're trying to save up for the King (10k+) or upgrading Hogs (20k)
