Looks like I will be buying a copy of the Hockey News next month. Great for Gaudreau.

Johnny will remember that in the third period when he turns him inside out on a deke. There will be no better place to do it than in Toronto. Book it.

Now Phaneuf interferes with Granlund and cross checks him. He must love Toronto, gets away with all sorts of crap.

I guess you can wrap your arms around JG with no call tonight?

So Dion just sits on one of our guys, no call. Gaudreau obviously held onto, no call. Love playing in Toronto.
Devorski should have retired already.

Flames are the better team. Not too worried.

I'd like to see Ferland or Bollig stir things up with Dion.

Flames the better team by a mile in this period. Bernier has made some good stops, and has been very lucky on a couple others. Flames need to start burying their chances.

Bit difficult for Bollig considering he's a scratch!

Celebrated Square Root Day

Our biggest issue so far is we're just not getting to the net for loose pucks. We're doing a great job getting pucks on the net for
what should be dangerous passes, only to have no flames getting there to whack at it. It's happened like 4 times this game already.

A ton of missed calls in the last 5-7 minutes. Refs, please wake up.

The second best team on the ice leads 1-0. If the Flames keep playing that way they'll win.

Good period. Unlucky to be down. Phaneuf getting away with murder out there.

There's more kicks in soccer than toe and inner side instep kicks; an outside kick is a distinct kicking motion as well. Holland is slowing but moves and extends his left leg towards the goal mouth which is at an angle to his motion at the point of contact.
