I feel a bit sorry for someone like Gerrard who may have just played his last CL game and who I have always liked mostly because in the 'Golden Generation' he was one of the ones (with JT and Ashley Cole) who actually seemed to give a damn when playing for England
but the schadenfreude at Brendan Rodgers overrides that at least for now
