Only caught the highlights, but it looked like a good game. Can't win them all.

Annoying loss but we will do what we have been doing win out next couple of games

Same as the Anaheim game I felt like they got lucky goals. We never seem to get it that easy. Like I said before we will fight and get our next 2 points.

No surrender Calgary Flames

Good game. Enjoyed watching it.

If the Sharks beat the Flames, imagine what they're going to do to the Oilers tomorrow! Haha!

Not sure if it has been mentioned.

So freaking impressive that Monahan , on the faceoffs, cleanly beat Thornton three times in a row in the last 1:30 of the game

Flames never quit and that's all that you can ask for. Maybe I'm being too picky but the Couture backhand I thought Ramo should have had. Anyways can't win em all. Hopefully we crush the Leafs!!

Edmonton can't lose every game. Feels dirty but maybe it's time for an Oil win

Just finished watching the game on PVR.

Piss poor officiating in the 3rd. Worst reffing in a game we've played this year.

New scouting report on Ramo: go to the backhand

Given the standings I'd love to see an Edmonton win tomorrow... but let's be honest.

I think the loss was needed. Although we been winning, the last couple games we were getting sloppy in our zone, which SJ capitalized on. These are things Hartley is going to push at the next practice. Lets start round two of a 4 game winning streak

Nope, not me. You just know that we'll hear how Edmonton is better because they can beat SJ while Calgary can't.

We already shut them out in their barn, way more humiliating than what happened tonight to us.

Edmonton can steal all 4 points from SJ and I won't miss a blink of sleep.

The flames played well tonight, but i felt sven would have helped stajan and bouma a bit on that fourth line.

This game was really lost in that two or three minute stretch to open the second - we pretty much outplayed them the rest of the game. Their goal near the end was amazing but 9/10 times that play doesn't work out so well. I did feel the flames were a bit too perimeter happy tonight... We could have used better screens and harder drives, but give credit to the SJ defense. They really still are a playoff team and much better than their record. I wish we had played Jonas Hiller tonight - even if the outcome had been the same I feel it was time to give him some run.

Overall i am not dissapointed in this loss so much as I just hope we bounce back with good lines and strong chemistry.

Was kinda kidding. As a goalie, backhands are hard to read. And he let in 2 in 2 min. But as hard as they are to read, a consistent backhand from a forward is hard to execute to its intention

Implication: all you have to do as a coach is have your shooters perfect the backhand to increase chances to score on Ramo.

The team knows why they lost tonight. Two very costly mistakes in their own zone. I can live with it, like Russell said in the post game interview, learn from our mistakes, make simpler plays, get it out of the zone when we have to.

I'll be upset with losses when the compete level is not there. There was tons of compete out there tonight.

It'll be a good time for the last couple of guys to come off of IR now though. I think a couple of the kids need a rest.

I have to say I wasn't at all enamored with Ramos play tonight either. He was all over the place in a few instances. Really lost control of where his net was on a couple of occasions. And there was a really odd scramble early in the third where he was flopping around like Hasek on crack but the puck was nowhere near a scoring chance or even a shooting chance. It was like he lost the post, slid across to the other post, fell to his belly, scrambled a bit more, flopped and just lied there as the puck left the zone. Was really weird. Anyone else see that?

Yeah, Ramo was just ok, didn't look as good as he has recently. Got some bad bounces against though, too.

I'd be really surprised if Hiller isn't starting on Tuesday. Ramo had a great run, but it's time to change it up again.

I have no idea why, but I have more confidence in Ramo than I do in Hiller.

Hard to fault Ramo with any of then goals, but it would have been nice to get some big saves at that point.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd like to see Ramo keep going.

The fact that Jooris was even out there speaks volumes about his play. Then he goes out and kills off a good 30 seconds of a 5 on 3 by winning a key face off and getting that poke check. Unreal.
