Yeah just garbage non calls there. Should have been 6 on 3. Calgary got boned.

Honestly, I was laughing at the end of the game. I honestly didn't care who won the game after that incredible push.

The Flames can hang around with any team in the league it seems and that's all I care about right now.

Frustrating game but for the most part not because of the flames play. Bad bounces, Niemi, questionable reffing, etc. Oh well on to the next one

The only two reasons why the Flames lost:

1. Niemi.
2. Our inability to clear the puck out of our zone.

Other than that, I thought they played great. Fantastic effort late in the 3rd to try and tie it. No quit in this team whatsoever, and I love that. Ya can't win 'em all.

There was once a goalie who SJ had. He stole us many wins.

Good game, nice and tight and even though we lost we were in it to the last second. I definitely take solace in the fact that Marleau and Thornton are 35 and will slowly become irrelevant in the next few years.

A loss like this will hurt and may raise the energy level even more in the next game.

Coulda won it with more goals for the first period dominance. Coulda won it with better play in the second - no crappy giveaways. Coulda won it in the third but Niemi was too solid.

On to the next game.

I don't like to call a fix...but my god what a terrible stretch of reffing at the end of the game

the loudness of the boos was unreal

Niemi was really, really good. That save on Johnny when he stuck out his left pad was unreal.

Monohan is so damn clutch. When was the last time we had a centerman who could win crucial draws at the end of the game like that? I honestly cant even remember.

With like 35 seconds left did Monahan have an open net and shoot it to the wrong side right into Niemi?

Regardless that was one hell of a final shift by him. Winning 3 straight face offs against one of the best.

Great effort!

Incompetent reffing always plays a factor in a handful of games a season.

That entire last minute should've been spent in the SJ zone with a multiple man advantage.

The Sharks are who we thought they were...god, I can't wait to say that again after they get eliminated from the playoffs

The effort was there, but too many mistakes were made in our own zone. As much as I love the guy, I would've certainly preferred to have Baertschi or Bollig in place of McGrattan.
