"We are one of the most talented and dynamic teams in the league. Our record doesn't say who we are, I could just as easily be standing here today, boasting about 8 wins in the past 11 games. Dallas is a methodical tactician, you can see this by use of his whiteboard. His strategies simply take longer to grasp and when we do so, this league is in a lot of trouble. I wish the team I took to the finals in '06 would have had a Taylor Hall, a Nuge, a Yak - we would have won in 3 games as Carolina surrendered.
This team as constructed is certainly a playoff team, other GMs told me they are glad we won't be there in round 1. We've had a small run of bad luck, but all of the answers are in that dressing room. We don't want a McDavid as we don't need him to be at the top of this league. If we do get him, he will have to adapt to our systems to be a part of this synergy that were building, each game, win or lose."

No offense but Bob Nicholson doesn't possess the balls to fire the good ol boys.
Doesn't offend me. That's pretty much what I was saying. The fact that he's not the one doing it shows that Lowe and MacT will still have their jobs and thus, the needed changes aren't being made.
