Out of town and didn't see the game, unfortunately, sounds like it was a nail-biter. Read the Game Takes (thanks Bingo/Enoch).
Questions:
Did the Dome give Iginla the same warm welcome he received last time when he was with Boston or was it cooler? How did he play?

Perhaps someone can answer your question better but for me watching on TV there was a little excitement for Iggy, but not a ton. Didn't hear any booing though either, so that's good.
As for how he did, kinda inconsistent the way he was in Calgary late in his career. Noticed him early in the first, was wondering where he was in the second, and he had some great shifts at the end of the third, almost scored on us in the last minute after we tied it up 3-3.

He didn't really get much in the line of cheers. Didn't get booed either.
He was largely invisible in the game. Cycled the puck a couple times. If you weren't looking for him specifically, you might not have noticed he was even in the lineup.

Thank you Czech Republic and Google Translate for putting the mental picture of Feaster cancan dancing in my head before bed. Didn't need sleep anyway right?

Just watched the Hartley post game interview. He made a sweet jab at the northen neighbors with this gem: "I don't go out and say I've won championships, my teams have won championships, this is a team sport."
He is an amazing coach. He came back to the NHL after wandering the desert and found the secret to hockey life along the way.

I don't think he even meant that as a jab, just what he thought.
It only comes out as a jab because Lowe says such stupid things.

went to the game with Mrs. Puppet's nephew who isn't a huge hockey fan. After Wideman tied it he was beaming, and when Monahan won it he was jumping and screaming, and the whole way home he was saying how happy he was to see it in person.

Johnny G has one of the best attitudes in professional sports, and it shows by the way he is able to rebound from a benching like that.
So, if we did trade Wideman like many on this board wanted, where would this team be without his league leading (among defensemen) 10 goals?
He is thriving in this system, glad to see it.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but another great game by Glencross.
Goal and a perfect screen (and beautiful dodge) on Wideman's tying goal.
Even when he isn't scoring, Glencross is always flying out there. He's probably our best forward on both the fore- and backcheck.
Wideman represented the best and worst of Hartley's call to give the D the green light on offence. On that first goal, I honestly thought Jooris had scored because there was no way a defenceman was crashing the net like that. OTOH, Wideman going for it set up both Duchene's and Tanguay's goals becasue Russell was left completely hung out to try. In both cases though, Russell played the rushes very, very poorly. Then Wideman goes and scores the tying goal. Ho hum, another day at the office.
