If Eakins is employed to start 2015 it's an absolute travesty.

It can't be him though TBQH. How many coaches must they need?

He stopped skating at centre - less than 17 seconds into overtime knowing it is 4 on 4. When he finally glided back into the zone - he was lost exactly as you describe - so he just kinda did a little circle in the high slot - near no one. No way you can discount his lack of effort this time because he was 'gassed'.

I gotta say that after watching Gene Principe interviews from the last few weeks, I really appreciate the job Scott Oake does in interviewing players during and after games. Interviewing a Jets player? The conversation is about the Jets, not the Oilers.

Isn't it time for the NHL to demote them to the AHL? An AHL team would win a game or two in 11 from just hard work. The amazing thing is they keep finding creative, new ways to lose.

hockey players are so polite
Oake: why do you guys have so much success against the Oilers?
Truba: i don't know just one of those things
real answer: cause they suck

At least one more. Eakins is terrible.

So perfect... they even got the loser point to hurt themselves in the McDavid race.
The streak goes on. I think in Oiler speak this is now a Messier Skidmark
