He's been awful.
Would look better in an Oilers jersey, IMO.

Devils? As in the team that employs Bryce Salvador and Peter Harrold? They're horrible defensively this year.
Schneider has been fine. The reason he's let in more goals than almost every other goalie is because he's played pretty much every game this season.

That's like saying the Flames are known to be lacking in offensive skill.
The past is the past. New Jersey has been at best mediocre defensively this season.

No surprise as STL and Brodeur close in, should be one-year plus bonuses. Glad to see he's getting a shot.

I'm glad they're treating him with respect and are getting excited about it. If he can get hot, and there's no reason why he can't, the Blues could do well.

What happens when Elliott comes back? Put Brodeur on waivers? Cause they definitely won't risk losing Elliott or Allen on waivers.

Eh good on him. Hope it's a good fit for both sides. I thought Jagr signing with Philly in 2011 was a silly nostalgia move, but he's been putting up the points on his retirement tour ever since.
Heck I hope Brodeur pulls a Jagr as well. Signs with a different team every year and gets his own band of traveling Brodeurs.

@Real_ESPNLeBrun: Brodeur bonuses: 10k for every point he earns the team in standings; 125k if he's on NHL roster Feb. 1; 125k if he's on NHL roster March 4
@Real_ESPNLeBrun: That's whether it's Blues NHL roster or another team. Plus also playoff bonuses based on team winnings rounds and his minutes in that

Smart way of signing him. I would imagine being Brodeur, he has tonnes of respect in the room instantly, and I bet they play hard for him every time he is on the ice to try and get him those wins.

I actually want to see him do well. A Cup would be pretty crazy. End of a Hall of fame career perfectly.

Brodeur giving the Blues their first ever cup would actually be a pretty remarkable sight.

I agree, as a hockey fan, how could anyone not like Marty and not wish him well?

Marty just because the long length of his career with NJ not wearing a Devils jersey in the NHL just will look odd. Meh whatever he obviously still wants to play.
