The Coyotes played an AHL team yesterday. It doesn't count.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Mason Raymond on the ice with the #Flames for morning skate today. First time he's skated with the main group since his injury.

This article claims Kipper holds a franchise record shutout streak of 161:11, but evidently that isn't true as apparently Vernon went 164:40.

Sooo what happens if Raymond and Stajan come back, bump a couple rookies out of the lineup, and we go on a losing skid? There are going to be some heated discussions to say the least.

lines the same as they have been the last few games;
Aaron Vickers @AAVickers
#Flames lines looking like:
Gaudreau-Jooris-Hudler;
Bollig-Bouma-Baertschi;
Glencross-Monahan-Jones;
Byron-Granlund-Ferland.

Or what happens if the slot back in, and we become a better team? Because there are a few players in our lineup right now, IMO, that can be replaced by Stajan/Raymond.

Raymond and Stajan aren't going to make us lose. I think we'll actually be able to roll out 4 lines when those two and Colborne come back.

3 in 4 for the Yotes.. this is one of those should/guarantee win type games if you're to be considered a top team.

Will be good to get Raymond back. Even more goal scoring power added to the lineup.
Afraid to say he'll likely replace Ferland, though.

With some of the vets getting closer to returning (there was speculation yesterday that Stajan may be looking to dress for Thursday night's game, and with Raymond back skating with the group he may be back in the next few games) this is going to get interesting.
What this means however is that no one on this team is going to be riding the teams recent success or taking "a night off" - as that could be your ticket back to Adirondack.
The Yotes will find a fired up, confident Flames team at the Saddledome tonite (exactly the opposite of what they encountered last night) that I expect will be flying from the opening face off.
Should be a good game, and of course am expecting the Flames to prevail.

Hudler, who is famous in the Flames dressing room for ducking the press, was actually engaging with them today. https://twitter.com/NHLFlames/status/539844376227098625
I am so impressed with Hudler this year. I believe he now has six goals in his last six games, so is leading on the ice.
But also off the ice - I keep hearing stories of how he is taking guys like Gaudreau and Grandlund under his wing and teaching them tricks of the trade he has picked up over the years etc.
I also like his mischievous side - his tendency to photo-bomb interviews etc. One of the vets on this team that just keeps impressing and getting better.

If someone asked Hudler if Datsyuk and Gaudreau have any similarities he'd probably respond "they both wear #13."
Love the guys personality

At a minimum:
From the lineup for tonight - Bollig and Baertschi. From the current roster - those two plus Knight and McGrattan.
