I guy gets 3 Defenceman injured and needs a little help reaching roster numbers and you are wondering why GM's are trying help out with the "meaningless trade"

I totally get everyone helping each other out. And the commentary wasn't so much that guys shouldn't do these types of trades...it's more that we should see more trade activity outside of just these types of deals.
